The Basics

Where are you located?

We are based in central Texas, San Marcos to be exact. A really perfect location – about 45 minutes south of Austin, north of San Antonio, and super close to Dripping Springs.

Do you charge for travel?

We only charge for travel when the location is over 1.5 hours from San Marcos.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

You bet we do! We’ve been so fortunate with our destination wedding opportunities over the years. Recently we’ve made our way to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mexico, and even Hawaii. We love traveling – so we always work out a special deal with our destination weddings.

What happens in case of emergency?

If (heaven forbid) some kind of emergency takes place that would impede on Zac or I being able to capture your wedding day, we have plans in place to make sure that YOU are taken care of. We have a great team of associate photographers and videographers who are willing to take our place should the situation occur.

How long have you been a wedding photographer/videographer?
  • Zac has been in the wedding industry as a videographer about 10 years now, and with almost 350 weddings under his belt he has a wealth of knowledge and experience crucial to a wedding videographer.
  • Kim has been a full time wedding photographer for over 5 years, but has been working as a portrait photographer for 10 years. She’s well versed in the wedding day flow.
How do we reserve our date?

Send us an inquiry to get the ball rolling! After that, if we are vibing, we’ll send over our contract and require a 50% deposit to save your date.

How far do you book out?

Anywhere from 8-15 months in advance. Make sure to get in touch as soon as you have your date and venue picked out so I can get your wedding on my calendar ASAP!

I'm not sure which package to book?!

No worries! Give me a call and we can chat it out. We’ll work together to figure out what your wedding day needs are, and we can create a custom package for ya! When booking photography only, my Hepburn package is the most popular! When booking photo and video together, our clients are spending an average of $4,000 – $6,000. We offer a photo and video combo discount as well.

When will I receive my photos and films?

I deliver sneak peek photos within 1 week after your wedding day. After that, we deliver our photos and films between 4-8 weeks after the big day. Sometimes sooner depending on the time of year or what else is on our editing queue.

What kind of style of photography do you shoot?

I shoot in a photo journalistic style, capturing candid moments as they happen. I love putting my clients in poses, give them a prompt, and grab that “in-between” moment – that’s where the magic is!

How many photos do you deliver?

It depends on the session and the hours of shooting, but typically I deliver about 100 images per hour. Wedding days range between 800-1200 final photos.

How do we receive the photos?

I utilize an online gallery for my sessions. This makes it really easy to send to family and friends, mark your favorite photos, and download your images in high resolution or web friendly qualities.

I’m really awkward in front of the camera, can you help me?

First of all, I get it! As a photographer I am NOT a fan of getting my photo taken by just anyone. It’s so important for you to have a connection with your photographer no matter what the session is. I’m all about finding our vibe and making a photo session or wedding day fun!
